1: Travel Organizer:

Book North Travel AS is the organizer of the trip with responsibility as specified below.

2: Registration and Payment for Excursions and Tours:

Registration must be made directly to the organizer via the booking system or email.
Registration is binding for both parties once the booking has been made through the above channels and the invoice has been received and paid by the customer.
For experiences and trips costing up to NOK 10,000, the full amount is due at the time of booking and is billed directly.
For arrangements exceeding NOK 10,000, NOK 2.000 is payable at the time of booking as a deposit, and the remaining balance is due at least 45 days before the scheduled date.
Some trips where providers have different payment requirements may affect Book North Travel's terms. These are specified in the trip brochure.

Once payment (deposit) has been received, the travel agreement between the parties is considered binding, and the organizer's terms are valid.
The organizer is then responsible for delivering the products/arrangements the guest has booked, while the guest remains financially responsible for the booking.
As the person booking an excursion or trip, the guest is responsible for ensuring that all information regarding guest names and other details matches travel documents such as ID or passports.
For group bookings, the contact person acts as the liaison between the guests and Book North Travel as the organizer.

3: Cancellation by the Customer:

Cancellation must be made in writing via email to Book North Travel AS.
Cancellations by phone are not valid.
Upon receipt of cancellation by Book North Travel AS, any paid amount will be refunded, minus the deposit and any percentage to cover our losses related to the cancellation.

Cancellation fees are calculated as follows:

Group bookings (10 or more participants),
subsequently individual bookings for multi-day trips:
More than 45 days before departure: Full refund minus the deposit.
44-31 days before departure: 50% refund minus the deposit.
Fewer than 30 days or no-show: No refund.
Changes to the group's size are accepted by email as soon as the customer has information about this, and up to 12% of the group size can be adjusted without cost until 45 days before departure.

For individual bookings with 1-9 participants:
Shorter activities (day trips/daily excursions):
Cancellation up to 7 days before: 100% refund.
Cancellation 2-6 days before: 50% refund.
Cancellation 1 day before or no-show: No refund.
To process refunds, a copy of the invoice or booking showing name, email, and phone number must be attached. Additionally, bank details for refunding the payment should be included.

4: Canceled Trip:

If a guest must cancel a trip or excursion, Book North Travel AS is not responsible for additional costs incurred due to the cancellation.
Such costs must be borne by the guest and may be claimed from the guest’s travel insurance.
Guests cannot claim a refund for the trip cost, either partially or entirely.

Guests may also be offered a later trip, with priority reservation.

7) Price Adjustments:

Book North Travel AS reserves the right to change prices from the time the excursion/tour is scheduled until its implementation.
This may be due to changes in public fees, taxes, or other supplier costs.
If the price increase exceeds 10% of the original price, the customer has the right to cancel with a full refund.

8) Complaints and Claims:

If travelers believe they have grounds to complain about excursions and tours, the complaint must be submitted during the trip to the operator’s personnel, who will attempt to address any issues.
