The Experience – Day by Day

Day 1 – Lovund, Chocolate, and Waterfront Atmosphere
Departure from Sandnessjøen at 10:00 AM. We set course along the Helgeland coast and enjoy the journey through the island landscape.

After approximately 1.5 hours, we arrive at Lovund — the distinctive island known for its vibrant local community and the famous puffin colony with tens of thousands of puffins. Here, you will have time for sightseeing before lunch at Lovund Hotel.

At 2:00 PM, we continue by boat toward Sjokoladebrygga on Dønna. After about one hour at sea, we are welcomed to an atmospheric experience featuring a guided tour, storytelling, and tasting of local chocolate specialties. Here, coastal culture is combined with craftsmanship and a passion for fine flavors.

The journey then continues to Augustbryggo, where we arrive at approximately 5:00 PM. The evening includes dinner in a maritime setting, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and overnight accommodation close to the sea. Breakfast is served the following morning before new experiences await.

 
Day 2 – Sensory Experiences and Coastal Art
After breakfast, we continue our journey at 10:00 AM. The first stop of the day is Etcetera, offering an unconventional experience filled with unique sensory impressions. 

We then continue through the archipelago toward the iconic sculpture Petter på skjæret. From the boat, we circle the impressive 20-ton figure while hearing the story behind this distinctive artwork standing guard over the open sea.

After an eventful journey, we return to Sandnessjøen with arrival at approximately 1:10 PM.

 
Practical Information

Due to crossings over open sea, the sailing route may be adjusted according to weather conditions to ensure the best possible comfort and safety. Sailing and arrival times may therefore vary slightly.

Culinary Experiences
Food is an important part of the experience. Included during the tour:

• Lunch at Lovund Hotel
• Snacks and refreshments served onboard Opus One
• A delicious dinner at Augustbryggo on Herøy

 
About Opus One
Opus One is a comfortable yacht with plenty of space both indoors and outdoors. Here, you can sit back, enjoy the scenery, and let the journey unfold at a relaxed pace. The yacht accommodates 12 passengers, but we limit the group size to a maximum of 10 guests to ensure optimal comfort onboard.
